Kit Out London 0-4 FC Baresi: (My match report from Parsloes Park)

Kit Out London hosted FC Baresi on Saturday afternoon in an Essex Alliance League Senior Division fixture, straight after the Lymore Gardens versus FC Petrocub London match, at Parsloes Park. Kit Out London started the match in 15th place in the league, with FC Baresi sitting at the top of the table. In what was a fixture that could have seen FC Baresi win the Essex Alliance League Senior Division title on Saturday, providing that Woodford East had dropped points against Chadwell Heath Spartans in their respective league fixture, it wasn’t to be, however, at least not this weekend. With Woodford East winning their match against Chadwell Heath Spartans. However, FC Baresi would win 4-0 against Kit Out London, meaning that they just need to get a point against FC Petrocub to win the league, in their fixture next Saturday. A great early pass from Marvin Hamilton, early on in the match, would see the experienced midfielder find Junior Appiah, on the right-hand side of the Kit Out London penalty area. However, Junior Appiah’s resulting effort went just over Kit Out London goalkeeper Dan Martin’s goal.

Not long after the impressive Abadilla Kousairi had delivered a good, low cross into the Kit Out London box, and from which Murat Karagul had hit the crossbar from, with a good, first time effort, FC Baresi took the lead on 18 minutes. Once again, Abadilla Kousairi delivered a good, low cross into the away team’s penalty area, this time to Junior Appiah, who finished low into the goal, from close range, 1-0. The first real chance for Kit Out London arrived soon after the game had resumed. With Jayden Fearon-Doyle getting to a long forward pass inside the FC Baresi penalty area. However, the Kit Out London forward was unable to get enough pace on his effort on goal, and his low effort was saved by FC Baresi goalkeeper Eric Andoh. Shortly after that chance for the away side, Junior Appiah had an effort from inside the Kit Out London box, saved by Dan Martin, before Nik Qadam-Ahmadi hit an effort from the edge of the FC Baresi box, wide of their goal. In the 45th minute of the first half, FC Baresi would double their lead. After Murat Karagul had passed the ball across the Kit Out London penalty area, to Noyan Tajbakhsh in the centre of the box, and he finished well, into the goal, 2-0.

Eric Andoh would save a low effort from distance by Kacper Bialek, during the opening stages of the second half, just before Marvin Hamilton would hit a good, free-kick effort wide of the Kit Out London goal. Kit Out London would then come close to scoring on two occasions. The first effort came from Tarik Aciyan, who had hit a good effort over the FC Baresi goal from distance, before Helkias Acheampong met the ball, perhaps five yards out from goal, with Eric Andoh out of his goal. However, Kit Out London player Helkias Acheampong missed the goal, in what was a let off for FC Baresi. Murat Karagul would hit an effort over Dan Martin’s goal, after receiving a pass on the edge of the Kit Out London penalty area, before Tarik Aciyan curled a free-kick effort over Eric Andoh’s goal, at the opposite end of the pitch, a couple of minutes later. FC Baresi would dominate the latter stages of the match. After Noyan Tajbakhsh had volleyed an effort just over Dan Martin’s goal from the edge of the Kit Out London penalty area, Marvin Hamilton would find FC Baresi captain Edson Lami from a free-kick delivery into the Kit Out London box, from which Edson Lami headed an effort just wide of the goal.

Ten minutes before the end of match, FC Baresi made sure of the win. With Marvin Hamilton laying the ball off to Lamine Brandao on the edge of the Kit Out London penalty area, from where the FC Baresi substitute hit an unstoppable effort into the top left hand corner of the Kit Out London goal, 3-0. Less than two minutes later Lamine Brandao turned provider, crossing the ball into the centre of the Kit Out London penalty area, finding Junior Appiah, who volleyed a fabulous and very difficult effort into Dan Martin’s goal, 4-0. Very late on in the match, Tarik Aciyan hit an effort from the right-hand side of the FC Baresi box, on their goal, but it was saved at his near post by goalkeeper Eric Andoh. This was a professional performance from FC Baresi, who controlled the match from start to finish, and who created some really good chances, from which they comfortably won the match from. With two goals, one of which was excellently taken, and a fine all-round performance on Saturday afternoon, FC Baresi player Junior Appiah was my player of the match.
