Jakub Malczuk is the captain of step 6 Combined Counties Football League Division One side PFC Victoria London. The recently turned 41 year old made his competitive debut for PFC Victoria (during their debut 2016/17 season) in a 3-2 Middlesex County Football League Division 2 win over Centenary Park, in early 2017. Jakub had previously played in the third division of Polish football, for a couple of different clubs.
A highly versatile player, Jakub Malczuk has remained with PFC Victoria ever since making his debut for the club in 2017, apart from a short stint at Essex Senior League side Woodford Town, during the 2020/21 season. A very consistent and ambitious player, Jakub can play anywhere across the defence, as well as being able to play in midfield. He took the captains armband in 2018, and a real mr consistent, Jakub has been a big part of PFC Victoria’s journey through the Middlesex League, ever since.
A very strong player, who is a fitness fanatic, Jakub reads the game well, regardless of where he is playing, and he plays the game at an impressive intensity. However, he is good on the ball, and he likes to play the ball forward when possible. Perhaps his finest skill though, is being able to take the ball off an opponent at any time, with Jakub also being so strong and physical. Helping PFC Victoria to win promotion to step 6 for the very first time, for the start of the 2024/25 season, following promotion from the Premier Division of the Middlesex League, Jakub Malczuk was ever present for the team last season. And, it was a good and solid debut season in Division One of the Combined Counties League last time out, for the club.
Next season will be PFC Victoria’s second season at step 6 of the non-League system, and once again the vastly experienced Jakub Malczuk will provide PFC with such important experience and quality on the pitch, as they look to improve further.
