The only midweek fixture in the Premier Division was between Larkspur Rovers and Kodak (Harrow), at Lord Halsbury Playing Fields. It was the visiting side – Kodak (Harrow), who won their second league match of the new season, as Dean Sylvester’s side won this game 3-2. For Kodak, Chinonso Obiajuru, Japhael Kibabu, and Gianni Marotta got their goals. On to Saturday afternoon, and at Brunel University Sports Complex newly promoted side Harrow United would get a point against Jolof Sports, in what was Harrow United’s first game at step 7. Harrow United came from behind on two occasions to earn a point, with the game finishing 2-2. For Harrow United, Rio Agyeman and Raphael Garrett got their goals.
On Saturday, Hayes & Hillingdon worked really hard as a team to get three points against another very good side, in Camden & Islington United, at Honeycroft. Joe Shepherd got the match winning goal for Hayes & Hillingdon, in a 1-0 win. Hilltop Reserves got their first win of the Premier Division season, on Saturday. They won 9-1 against league debutants PFC Victoria London Reserves, in what was a tremendous win for Hilltop Reserves at Harris Lowe Academy. And at Lord Halsbury Playing Fields, Larkspur Rovers won 1-0 against Kensington Dragons.
After losing to Eagles Land Cricklewood in their opening league fixture of the new season last Saturday, London Fennecs would pick up their first win of the 2025/26 season, this Saturday. The home side on the day would beat Wood Lane 3-0. For London Fennecs, Mohamed Riad Akroun, Sofian Hammouda, and Ramy Rouighi got their goals on the day. It was an historic day for newly promoted side Sporting Duet, who won their first ever game in the Premier Division, 4-0 at home to Indian Gykahana Club, at Club Des Sports.
In east London on Saturday afternoon, Eric Najib’s Stonewall side made it two wins from two, as they won 5-2 at home to newly promoted side LBS Lions. Moses Seitler (x4) and Yusuf Isiaq got Stonewall’s goals, with Rocco Pelà and Immanuel Jeffrey getting LBS Lions’ goals. Next Saturday there are six Premier Division matches that are taking place. The game that I would like to highlight, that is taking place next Saturday, is the London Fennecs versus Camden & Islington United match, at London Tigers Sports Complex. Although I haven’t decided yet, which match/league I’ll be covering next Saturday, that particular Middlesex League fixture will be a very good one.
