On Saturday afternoon in the Premier Division of the Middlesex County Football League, there were seven fixtures taking place. At Vale Farm (Wembley FC) Eagles Land Cricklewood made it two wins from two in the league this season, with a 3-1 win over Wood Lane (Yusuf Khalaf got their only goal of the game). Newly promoted side Harrow United picked up their first win of the 2025/26 season, yesterday at Brunel University Sports Complex, as they won 6-1 against Indian Gymkhana Club. For Harrow United in this impressive home win, Kojo Agyeman, Raphael Garrett (x2), Nana Sefah (x2), as well as an own goal were their goalscorers on the day.
At Harris Lowe Academy, the visiting team (LBS Lions) got two early goals against Hilltop Reserves in yesterday’s match, as they won this game 2-0. However, Hilltop Reserves played really well, and in the end the LBS Lions goalkeeper (Ciriaco Eduardo) was awarded their player of the match award. That is now two wins in a row for the newly promoted side, LBS Lions. In an entertaining game of football at Lord Halsbury Playing Fields, Larkspur Rovers and Hayes & Hillingdon (Liam Walford got both of their goals) would play out a 2-2 draw. There was another very entertaining game being played on Saturday, this time between Sporting Duet Academy and Camden & Islington United, at Club Des Sports. Camden & Islington United found themselves 2-0 down at half-time. However, two goals from Ryan Pickles would secure a point for the north London club.
Top of the table Stonewall made it three wins from three, with a 4-0 home win over Kensington Dragons, at the West Ham Memorial Ground. Yusuf Isiaq, Moses Seitler (x3 – he now has six goals in three games this season), and Kolawole Soyoye got Stonewall’s goals. And at Harrow Weald Recreation Ground, the visiting side on Saturday afternoon (Camden United) won 1-0 against Kodak (Harrow), in what was a hard fought win for Leon Louis’ side. Bruno Lee-Khan has started this season really well for Camden United, and the forward would get the winner for the north London club on Saturday. Next Saturday afternoon the Premier Division game in which I would like to highlight, is the Jolof Sports versus Camden United fixture at the West Ham Memorial Ground. Will Jolof Sports get their first win of the season in their third league match, or will Camden United continue their fine start to this season?
