My preview of the 2025/26 Essex Alliance Football League (Divisions Two and Three) season:

My final preview of the new Essex Alliance Football League season (2025/26), is on Divisions Two and Three, with both of those divisions beginning this Saturday. Division Two has 11 teams who are competing in it for this season. Last seasons Division Three champions Iona Wheels, Chingford Harriers and London Academics were all promoted to Division Two for the start of the 2025/26 season. A number of teams have also been promoted from Division Two, from last season.

A talented CSM London Under 23s side will remain in Division Two this season, as will a very established Glendale side. Freetown, who I reckon will do well in this division in 2025/26, were relegated from Division One at the end of the previous season. Eastside Foundation (they face CSM London Under 23s, in what will be a good opening game of the season, tomorrow), London East, Thurrock Thameside and Kulture Reserves, are all joining the league and this division, for this season. Also, Lymore Gardens Under 23s will also be in Division Two, for the 2025/26 season.

Division Three of the Essex Alliance Football League constitutes of nine teams for the 2025/26 season. Harlow based side Bocas Jogabonito, City of Westminster (they started the 2024/25 season in the league’s Premier Division – And, I’m hoping to get to one of their games this season), and Old Parkonians B all join Division Three ahead of its start. Romford Town Flyers A, Jays, Buckhurst Way, and Cobra all remain in this division from last season. Both divisions will be interesting this season. I wish all of the sides who are competing in both Divisions Two and Three, all the very best for the season ahead.
