Lymore Gardens player Wisley Baltazar is a talented player, who is also very technically gifted. This season (2025/26), Wisley returned to Lymore Gardens, whose first team are continuing to do really well in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division South, following their promotion from step 7 at the end of last season. Wisley has scored three goals from 11 appearances for Lymore Gardens, so far this season. Wisley has previously played for teams such as Brimsdown (at youth level), Haringey Borough Under 21s, St Margaretsbury, and Frenford. And across all teams/levels (including at first team level) the forward scored a very impressive total of 61 goals from 92 competitive appearances for Frenford.

A player who I first saw a while ago now, when he was playing for Lymore Gardens in the Essex Alliance Football League Senior Division, and in forward areas of the pitch, Wisley has always been a player who I have admired. Not only for his ability in the final third, but also for his work off the ball. A clever player with good movement off the ball, Wisley leads the line well when playing as a centre-forward, and he works so hard off the ball, especially with his pressing and chasing down of the ball. Wisley also holds the ball up really well, effectively bringing others in to play. 

On the ball and the experienced forward is a really good finisher, who has a variety of finishes to his game, including from outside of the penalty area, as his ball striking technique is very good. Wisley always gives his all on the pitch, and in Lymore Gardens’ last match (away to Dunmow Town, in the league) he scored the winning goal of that game from the penalty spot, having lead the line well against Dunmow. Wisley and Lymore’s next match is at home to Essex Senior League side Frenford, in the FA Vase. That will be a great game, and I wish Wisley all the best for the remainder of this season with Lymore Gardens.
