A piece on FC Baresi’s vastly experienced goalkeeper – Graham Loki:

Graham Loki was a summer signing for step 6 side FC Baresi, and the very experienced 36 year old goalkeeper has so far played in every league game for the club during this season, since joining them. From Islington, Graham has a lot of experience of playing non-League football, and the goalkeeper had previously played for clubs such as Clapton FC, Buckhurst Hill, Brimsdown, and Enfield Borough, in more recent years. A very commanding goalkeeper within his penalty area, Graham is very vocal, really talking and guiding his defenders through matches.

Having played non-League football at a higher level in the past, Graham’s understanding and reading of the game from the goalkeeping position, has and will continue to make him an important player for FC Baresi. In my opinion, Graham had his best game for FC Baresi, so far, in a close defeat to NW London, when he made several top saves and important goalkeeping decisions, to really keep his team in that contest for as long as possible. Graham Loki’s decision making on the pitch, shot stopping and fine reflexes, as well as his leadership as one of the more senior players in Tufail Amjad’s FC Baresi side, are all impressive sides of his game.

As well as being a great character on the pitch, Graham is also a great guy off the pitch, and I would like to wish him and FC Baresi, all the very best for the remainder of this season.
