Blerdon Kurtolli is a versatile player, who plays his football for step 6 non-League side FC Baresi. Blerdon joined FC Baresi during the early stages of the current 2025/26 season, after having previously played for a very good Haringey Borough Reserves side. Blerdon has settled in really well, since making his debut for FC Baresi in a 2-0 away victory over Burnham Ramblers back in September, and he has been almost ever present for the club, since making his debut.
Having got a really good run of games in the team for Tufail Amjad’s FC Baresi side, Blerdon has shown his quality in central-defence, although he can also play in central midfield, as well. A very assertive defender, who is good on the ball and strong in the air, Blerdon is a good reader of the game. Putting in some strong defensive performances against the likes of Dunmow Town and May & Baker, in more recent games, he has been defensively very solid for his team.
Despite going off injured in FC Baresi’s recent London Senior Trophy first round tie with SC Thamesmead, Blerdon returned to the squad for their league fixture with Clapton Community, at the weekend. Blerdon is still a young player, and the season so far has undoubtedly been great for his development as a footballer. I wish Blerdon and FC Baresi all the very best for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
