A piece on highly skilful Baller League and non-League player, Sam Fitzgerald:

Sam Fitzgerald is such a skilful footballer, who at the age of 25, already has a lot of experience within football. A player for non-League side Sporting Khalsa, as well as playing for Baller League side M7 FC on Monday evenings in east London, the player from Birmingham has previously played for a number of very good non-League teams. Teams such as Alvechurch, Lichfield, and Hereford.

A player who just loves playing football, Sam Fitzgerald’s superb goal (that was his third goal from three appearances for M7 FC, this season) for M7 FC against Deportrio, in a 4-2 win on Monday was praised greatly on social media, such was the fine skill involved from Sam, before he finished really well from quite a difficult angle. Sam is a well known footballer in non-League football in the East Midlands, and in the final of last season’s Somali British Champions League final, for Birmingham based side FC Olympia, he really impressed me.

The tall central midfielder who is always available to receive the ball to feet, and who likes to drive and glide forward with the ball and create chances, was in my opinion one of the players of the match in this year’s SBCL final, which FC Olympia lost 2-1 to Hilltop, in Bristol. His quality on the ball, work-rate, and ball striking technique were all of very good quality in that final, for FC Olympia. Impressing already in this edition of Baller League, which has great coverage, I’m sure that Sam Fitzgerald will continue to show his quality for M7 FC, who have made a good start to this season, as well as for Sporting Khalsa in non-League football, who he only joined recently.
