My weekly round-up of the Middlesex County Football League:

In a Saturday of some very big wins for teams across the respective divisions of the Middlesex County Football League, the following round-up covers every match involving teams from the Middlesex County League. In the league’s Premier Division, at West Ham Memorial Ground, the visiting side on Saturday (LBS Lions) won 7-1 against Jolof Sports. For LBS Lions, last season’s top goalscorer from the Middlesex County League, Andrei Pogan, scored five of their goals against Jolof Sports, in this important win for LBS Lions. In west London there was a brilliant 7-4 home win for Kensington Dragons, against title contenders Hayes & Hillingdon, whilst Kodak (Harrow) recorded an important 1-0 win against Stonewall.

Also in Premier Division action on Saturday were Larkspur Rovers, who stay in third place in the league table, after beating Harrow United 3-2 (at home). Eagles Land Cricklewood won 4-1 away to Sporting Duet Academy, to move back up to top of the league table. And for Eagles Land Cricklewood, there was a return to the club for their top goalscorer from last season, Kristo Beshiku, who scored a goal in that big win for Eagles Land.

Wood Lane were 2-0 up against Camden & Islington United on Saturday afternoon,  courtesy of goals from Jay Hines and Yusuf Khalaf, before a brace of goals from Camden & Islington’s Louie Dixon made it 2-2, before full-time. And you can read my in-depth match report from Camden United’s 6-1 away win over Indian Gymkhana Club:  https://nonleagueandacademyfootballwriter.co.uk/2025/11/22/indian-gymkhana-club-1-6-camden-united-fc-my-match-report-from-indian-gymkhana-sports-club/

In Division One East of the Middlesex County League, Apollo London recorded a fantastic 8-1 home victory over Edgware & Kingsbury Reserves, with another three goals for Errikos Biniaku (he has 16 goals in all competitions so far this season) helping Apollo London return to first place in the Division One East table. At Hackney Marshes, Hackney Wick Reserves and Stonewall Reserves would play out a 4-4 draw, whilst the Soccer Stars Ascenders and FC Marylebone game finished 1-1, at Paddington Recreation Ground. Also at Paddington Recreation Ground, Westminster & Kensington would win 4-3 at home to LBS Lions Reserves.

In Division One West, Explorers FC extended their lead at the top of the table to eight points, after a 4-2 away win over AFC Southall. Feltham FC and Uxbridge Athletic were awarded the points for their respective league fixtures with CB Hounslow & Abbots A and Hayes Town. Whilst Ickenham won 2-0 away to Wiseman West, in the only other fixture taking place in that division on Saturday.

In Division One Central, top of the league standings Ruislip Rangers won 5-2 away to Casual Ballerz. FH Whistlers won 2-0 at home to London Tigers, with Harrow Bhoys winning 12-0 away to London Athletic. In The Russell Grant Division 2, Kodak (Harrow) Reserves and RF Elite were awarded the points for their games with Inv3ntive and Sudbury Court, respectively. Staying in the same division, and Old Isleworthians won 7-1 away to FC Sunbury, inform side Hounslow Lions won 4-0 away to Heston, and Feltham Reserves won 3-0 away to Southall Athletic.

In The Jeff Nardin & Combination Division, a good FH Whistlers Originals side won 2-0 at home to Kodak (Harrow) 3rds, Holy Rood beat OHM Sports 5-1, whilst The Isleworth won 6-4 at home to CB Hounslow & Abbots 3rds. And there was a 6-4 away win for Old Isleworthians Reserves against West London Wanderers. There was a 3-2 away win for Celtic (1995) against Ruislip Town, in round three of this season’s Middlesex County FA Intermediate Cup, and in round two of The Jim Rogers President’s Division One Cup, Barnes won 2-1 away to Brent United.

On Saturday afternoon my highlighted Middlesex County Football League fixture of the week, is an AFA Cup round two tie between Honourable Artillery Company and Middlesex County Football League side, Apollo London. However, I will be covering the Camden United versus Hilltop Reserves game, at New River Stadium, on the same day.
