My weekly round-up of the Middlesex County Football League:

In the final Saturday of November, it was once again another busy day, with matches taking place across the different divisions of the Middlesex County Football League. In the Premier Division of the Middlesex County League, at London Marathon Community Track, a goal from Noah Ashton helped Stonewall to return to winning ways, with a 1-0 home win over Jolof Sports. Harrow United were awarded the win for their scheduled fixture with PFC Victoria London Reserves, who were unable to field, and LBS Lions recorded another big win, as they won 6-1 away to Indian Gymkhana Club.

At Harrow Weald Recreation Ground, Camden & Islington United recorded a 5-2 away win over Kodak (Harrow). And for Camden & Islington, Nick Wigmore (the team’s experienced player-manager) got on the scoresheet, with two goals against Kodak. I was at the New River Stadium on Saturday, as Camden United beat Hilltop Reserves 5-0. You can read my match report from that game here: https://nonleagueandacademyfootballwriter.co.uk/2025/11/29/camden-united-fc-5-0-hilltop-reserves-my-match-report-from-new-river-stadium/

In Division One East, Bloomsbury won 4-1 at home to LBS Lions Reserves, and Soccer Stars Ascenders showed good resilience as a team, to win 4-2 away to Edgware & Kingsbury Reserves. For Soccer Stars Ascenders, a hat-trick from Aymen Messaoudi (he now has 10 goals in eight competitive appearances so far this season) and a goal from Rocco Montorio, saw the very inform Ascenders keep up their excellent unbeaten start to the season, in the league.

Also in Division One East, there was a fantastic 16-1 away win for Westminster & Kensington, over FC Wood Green, and there was an impressive home win for Stonewall Reserves, who won 3-1 at home to FC Marylebone. In Division One West, there was a big 1-0 away win over Explorers, for Wiseman West, with AFC Southall also recording an impressive away victory, as they beat Feltham FC 5-1. In the same division, Ruislip Town won 6-3 at home to CB Hounslow & Abbots A, Townmead won 3-2 against Barnes, and Ickenham won 11-0 away to Uxbridge Athletic.

In Division One Central, Celtic (1995) recorded a point against Ruislip Rangers, with that game finishing 2-2. Title contenders FH Whistlers won 5-0 at home to Brent United, with Matthew Cordell scoring a hat-trick for the home side in that game. Another title contender, Harrow Bhoys, won 5-1 at home to Brentham, and Casual Ballerz won 3-2 away to London Tigers.

In The Russell Grant Division 2, Kodak (Harrow) Reserves, courtesy of goals from Razvan Duca, Kaine Joseph, and George Michaelides, won 3-1 at home to Hounslow Lions, to extend their lead at the top of the table to eight points. In the only other game taking place in that division on Saturday, after FC Sunbury were awarded the points versus Feltham Reserves, RF Elite beat Old Isleworthians 4-2.

In the Jeff Nardin & Combination Division, there was a good win for Indian Gymkhana Club Reserves, who won 3-1 away to CB Hounslow & Abbots 3rds. Kodak (Harrow) 3rds won 3-1 away to Feltham Town, Holy Rood won 6-2 against Old Isleworthians Reserves, Kensington Dragons Blues won 4-3 at home to AFC Heathrow, and a fine FH Whistlers Originals side beat The Isleworth 6-1, away.

In cup competitions on Saturday, in The Jim Rogers President’s Division One Cup, Bessingby Park Rangers’ great season continued, as they beat London Athletic (4-0) away in a second round tie. In the second round of The Alec Smith Premier Division Cup Eagles Land Cricklewood won 5-4 on penalties against Wood Lane, after that tie had finished 2-2 in regulation time. There was a good 5-0 win for Hackney Wick Reserves against Canning Town, in the third round of this seaons’s London County FA Junior Cup. Step 8 Middlesex League side Apollo London were so unlucky against top SAL side Honourable Artillery Company, after losing that AFA Senior Cup (second round tie) 4-3, after getting the game back to 3-3, from being 3-0 down.

Also in round two of the AFA Senior Cup, there was a 3-0 away win for Premier Division side London Fennecs, away to Bromleians. And finally, in round two of this season’s Anagram Records Trophy, Hayes & Hillingdon lost 6-5 on penalties to Hertfordshire based side Cuffley Sports, after that cup tie had finished 1-1 in regulation time. This Saturday, although I will be covering an FA Vase tie, my highlighted Middlesex County Football League fixture of the week is a quarter-final stage tie of The Alec Smith Premier Division Cup, between London Fennecs and Hayes & Hillingdon, in east London.
