The Premier Division of the Middlesex County Football League produced some big wins for clubs, on Saturday of last week. Starting with Sporting Duet Academy’s big 4-2 away win over Camden & Islington United, at Hackney Marshes. That was another big win, for a club who are having a really good debut season in the Premier Division. Camden United lost 2-1 at home to Jolof Sports, in a result which boosts Jolof Sports’ chances of avoiding finishing in the bottom two this season. And title contenders Eagles Land Cricklewood’s penultimate league fixture of the year ended with an important 4-2 win over Harrow United, at Vale Farm.
Staying with the Premier Division, and Hayes & Hillingdon recorded a 4-0 home win over Kodak (Harrow), at Uxbridge FC. And for Hayes & Hillingdon, Liam Walford was once again on the scoresheet. The centre-forward now has 18 league goals from 18 appearances in all competitions, so far this season. At Harris Lowe Academy, Indian Gymkhan Club recorded their first win of the season, by beating Hilltop Reserves 2-1. Title contenders London Fennecs won 4-1 at home to LBS Lions, in east London, while Kensington Dragons won 2-0 away to PFC Victoria London Reserves. And you can read my match report of Stonewall’s 2-1 home win over Wood Lane, here: https://nonleagueandacademyfootballwriter.co.uk/2025/12/13/stonewall-fc-2-1-wood-lane-fc-my-match-report-from-london-marathon-community-track/
In Division One East, at Regents Park, Camden & Islington United Development and Westminster & Kensington played out a 3-3 draw. Edgware & Kingsbury Reserves won a thrilling game of football away to FC Marylebone, 6-4, and in a game which Soccer Stars Ascenders had a player sent off in, the title contenders beat FC Wood Green 4-2 at Paddington Recreation Ground. Inform Stonewall Reserves also won on Saturday, as they recorded a 1-0 home win over Bloomsbury.
In Division One West, AFC Southall won 4-3 away to Ickenham, Ruislip Town would draw 2-2 with Explorers, and Townmead beat Uxbridge Athletic 5-1, away. In an unplayed fixture in Division One West, Wiseman West were awarded the win for their fixture with Hayes Town, who were unable to field on Saturday,
In Division One Central, Bessingby Park Rangers continued their outstanding form this season, with a 2-0 away win over Celtic (1995). In the same division, FH Whistlers would draw 3-3 with Brentham, and Harrow Bhoys won 4-3 away to London Tigers. In The Russell Grant Division 2, FC Sunbury and RF Elite played out a 2-2 draw, while the unbeaten Kodak (Harrow) Reserves won 5-1 at home to Southall Athletic.
In The Jeff Nardin & Combination Division, Kensington Dragons Blues beat The Isleworth 10-1, Kodak (Harrow) 3rds played out a 2-2 draw with Old Isleworthians Reserves, and FH Whistlers Originals beat West London Wanderers (away) 3-2. In a second round tie of this season’s Jim Rogers President’s Division One Cup, CB Hounslow & Abbots A and Hackney Wick Reserves (the tie finished 6-6 in normal tie), ended with the home side winning on penalties. The holders of the Jeff Nardin & Combination Cup, Feltham Town, lost narrowly (4-3) to last season’s finalists, AFC Heathrow, in round one of the competition. And in a quarter-final tie of the same competition, CB Hounslow & Abbots 3rds won 3-1 away to Indian Gymkhana Club Reserves.
This week, on Saturday afternoon at New River Stadium, a big Premier Division fixture between Camden United and Eagles Land Cricklewood takes place. That is my highlighted Middlesex County Football League fixture of the week.
