My weekly round-up of the Middlesex County Football League (Saturdays):

It was a big Saturday of games across all of the divisions of the Middlesex County Football League. Starting with the league’s Premier Division, and there was a 3-2 home win for Camden & Islington United, courtesy of goals from Hugo Cakurda, Louie Dixon and Adam Wurie, over Kodak (Harrow). There was also an important 3-2 away win for Hilltop Reserves, over Harrow United on Saturday, with Hayes & Hillingdon continuing to challenge for the league title in a fixture which was happening nearby at Uxbridge FC, as they won 4-1 against Indian Gymkhana Club.

At Club Des Sports, Larkspur Rovers beat LBS Lions 4-0, and then at West Ham Memorial Ground, league leaders Sporting Duet won 2-1 away to Stonewall. In Division One East (step 8), Bloomsbury beat Camden & Islington United Development 2-0 (away), and FC Marylebone won 4-3 away to FC Wood Green. Westminster & Kensington were awarded the points for their scheduled away league fixture with LBS Lions Reserves, who were unable to field a team.

In Division One West, league leaders Explorers importantly beat AFC Southall 3-0, second place side Barnes beat Feltham 10-0 away, and there was a 4-1 home win for Townmead, against Wiseman West. In the same division, Ruislip Town were awarded the points for their home fixture against Uxbridge Town, who were unable to field a team on Saturday. In Division One Central, there was an emphatic 7-3 away victory for the leaders of that division, FH Whistlers, over Harrow Bhoys. And, second place side Ruislip Rangers beat London Athletic 6-1. Also, Celtic (1995) won 3-0 away to London Tigers.

In The Russell Grant Division 2, Hounslow Lions lost 4-1 at home to RF Elite, Old Isleworthians beat FC Sunbury 4-0 at the Memorial Ground, and goals from Enzo Costa Jalo and Reagan Williams, helped league leaders Kodak (Harrow) Reserves to yet another win, as they beat Southall Athletic 2-0, away. In The Jeff Nardin & Combination Division, at Harefield Academy, Holy Rood beat The Isleworth 4-3 on Saturday. And a brace of goals from Oscar Nesbeth resulted in Kodak (Harrow) 3rds winning 2-0 against Indian Gymkhana Club Reserves.

Also in The Jeff Nardin & Combination Division, there was a big 10-2 win for Kensington Dragons Blues over CB Hounslow & Abbots 3rds, with West London Wanderers beating Old Isleworthians Reserves 7-4 away, on the same day. On to cup competitions featuring teams from across the league now, and in round three of the Anagrams Records Trophy, Premier Division side Kensington Dragons lost 4-2 to Herts County side Chipperfield Corinthians. And there was a great effort from a youthful Hackney Wick Reserves side, who took a very good London Hibernian side to penalties (after the tie had finished 0-0) in the quarter-finals of the London FA Junior Cup, before unfortunately losing on penalties.

In other cup competitions on Saturday, FH Whistlers Originals beat Casual Ballerz on penalties after that replayed Middlesex County FA Junior Cup quarter-final tie had finished 2-2 in normal time. And finally, Eagles Land Cricklewood booked their place in the final of this season’s The Alec Smith Premier Division Cup final, with a 3-0 away semi-final win over London Fennecs. And you can read my match report from that important cup tie here – https://nonleagueandacademyfootballwriter.co.uk/2026/03/07/london-fennecs-fc-0-3-eagles-land-cricklewood-fc-my-match-report-from-terence-mcmillan-stadium/

On Saturday the 14th of March my highlighted fixture of the week featuring a team/teams from the Middlesex County League, is a semi-final tie of the Middlesex County FA Intermediate Cup. As Harrow Bhoys face Premier Division side Stonewall at Roger Bannister Sports Centre, in this very important cup tie.
