A piece on FC Baresi midfielder Sajid Aziz – A leader on the pitch, who has real ability on the ball:

Sajid Aziz is a hardworking and talented midfielder, who leads and motivates his teammates really well on the pitch. Sajid has previously played for clubs such as Waltham Forest Borough, AS London and Stansted, before joining his current team, FC Baresi, during the early stages of the 2025/26 season. With two goals and five assists since joining FC Baresi during this season, both on the ball and in his leadership on the pitch, Sajid has made a positive impression on the team.

Sajid likes to get on the ball in order to influence play, but his tenacity and off the ball running are also important qualities of his game. The fact that he has provided five assists so far this season, in just over 20 appearances, shows that Sajid is a creative player. And with a good weight of pass, and eye for a forward pass, he likes to create chances for his teammates. I think that since the experienced player (he also plays for Sunday side Yeni Bogazici) has joined FC Baresi, he has really shown some excellent leadership qualities, and that, along with his work both on and off the ball, will continue to be important for the team, during the remainder of this season.

Finally, come the end of this season, Sajid’s outstanding goal from distance against SC Thamesmead in the London Senior Trophy, will most likely prove to be FC Baresi’s 2025/26 goal of the season winner!
