Ali Shikheey returned to his first club in senior football, FC Baresi, during last season (2025/26), who he made ten competitive first team appearances (he provided one assist) for, in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division South. Ali Shikheey’s journey in non-League football started with FC Baresi during the 2006/07 season, in the Middlesex County Football League. Ali would make 19 competitive appearances for Amjad Mahmood’s FC Baresi side during that season, scoring two goals.
Going on to play for the likes of Brentwood Town, London Bari, Waltham Forest, Sporting Bengal United and Lymore Gardens in his non-League footballing journey, Ali Shikheey was a very good wing-back for so much of his time in the game, but nowadays, for FC Baresi, he has often been playing in midfield. Calm both in and out of possession of the ball, Ali is a well respected player, who has played at a very good level of non-League football. And his passing, technique with the ball, and his composure under pressure saw him make a good impression on FC Baresi’s first team, when he featured prominently for them during the latter stages of last season. He reads the game well, and Ali is also a tenacious player.
