Malik Donaldson is a very difficult player to defend against. One versus one, he is unpredictable. Classy with the ball, and great at progressing it forward with both pace and skill, Malik scored a very impressive number of goals, as well as providing many assists from out on the left wing last season, for Lymore Gardens. Malik was instrumental in Lymore’s excellent, debut FA Vase run to the fifth round. Where his goals, and influence on so many of those matches was top class, and his composure in key moments, where one versus one with the goalkeeper he more often than not finishes in style, proved to be crucial.

It’s not just about his goals and assists which make Malik such an important player for Lymore Gardens. It’s also his teamwork and link play which makes him a really key player for the club, who on Friday evening will face Stansted FC, to start their second season at step 6. Malik Donaldson is a player who is more than capable of producing moments of magic out on the pitch. He scored some superb goals last season, helping his team to reach the play-offs of the Thurlow Nunn League First Division South. And he is a player who in my opinion is one of the top players in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division South. Going into an exciting season for Lymore, I wish Malik and the club all the very best for the season.
