The Russell Grant Division 2 (Middlesex County Football League) 2026/27 season starts next month. One level lower than Division One, The Russell Grant Division 2 will welcome seven new teams for the start of this season. Acton Ealing Whistlers start their journey in senior football, and they are joined by Greenford Town, as new clubs who are starting their journey in the Middlesex County Football League. Relegated from Division One at the end of the 2025/26 season, were London Athletic and London Tigers, who I’m sure will add quality to this competitive division.

CB Hounslow & Abbots A also join this division, after having been in Division One for part of last season. Kodak (Harrow) Reserves were promoted from the Russell Grant Division 2 as league champions last time out. With runners-up, RF Elite, also being promoted to Division One for the start of this season. Last season’s seventh placed side, Sudbury Court, sadly appear to have left the league. And, Old Isleworthians (I can see them really challenge for the league title this season), Hounslow Lions, Southall Athletic and FC Sunbury are the four sides who remain in this division, from the previous season.

A good AFC Heathrow side, and an FH Whistlers team who did very well in The Jeff Nardin & Combination Division during 2025/26, have been promoted to this division ahead of the upcoming season.
