Romford Town Flyers versus APSA:

APSA FC were an established football club in non-League football and the Essex Senior League, not too long ago. On Friday evening (kick-off is at 8pm at Noak Hill Sports Complex) they will make their return to senior football, facing Romford Town Flyers (away) in the opening fixture of the Essex Alliance Football League Premier Division East (step 8) season. It will be a historic game for APSA, who will be looking to start their season off with a win. However, it will also be a difficult, but very interesting first game of the season for APSA. I will be covering this game on my blog tomorrow.

Clapton Community versus Concord Rangers: In the early qualifying rounds of the FA Cup, Geoff Ocran’s Clapton Community side continue their journey in this world famous competition, in what is their second ever game in the competition. After doing really well to beat Benfleet in the previous round, the east London club will welcome step 4 Isthmian Football League side Concord Rangers to the Old Spotted Dog Ground, on Saturday afternoon. This will be a really tough test for Clapton Community, against a team who defeated Bedfont Sports in the previous round, to setup this tie. Another interesting game awaits though, but with their fans behind them as always, Clapton Community will believe that they can get the win on Saturday.

London Hibernian versus Bagshot:

After a thrilling 5-5 against Chessington & Hook United in their very first Surrey Premier County Football League fixture (step 7) last Saturday. Ben Lewis’ recently promoted London Hibernian side will host Bagshot at Harris Academy Merton, on Saturday afternoon. This will be London Hibernian’s first home fixture of this season, and the club with roots in London’s Irish community are a side who I think will do really well this season, in the Surrey Premier County Football League. And their next fixture, against Bagshot, promises to be a good one.
