This season’s (2026/27) London Sunday Trophy first round draw was made recently. This prestigious London FA County Cup was won by a very good and experienced FC Trent Park side last season at Wingate & Finchley FC, over an also very good AC Milano Reserves side. This season however, FC Trent Park will be competing in the London Sunday Challenge Cup. The first round draw, in which matches are scheduled to be played on the 27th of September, features a number of really good sides. Sides such as last season’s runners-up, AC Milano Reserves, Hackney Wednesday of the Camden Sunday Football League, as well as Hampstead Wanderers. Teams from across London will once again compete to be the winners of the London Sunday Trophy.
Given byes to the second round of this season’s competition, include last season’s Middlesex FA Sunday Intermediate County Cup winners The Gun Pub, highly impressive Corinthian Cup winners, East London Ballers Reserves, and a talented HMT Samsunspor side, of the Barnet Sunday Football League. I think that all three of those sides, are just some of the teams who could go all the way in this season’s London Sunday Trophy. The Gun Pub will definitely be a team to watch in the London Sunday Trophy, following their success last season in the Camden Sunday Football League.
