A piece on vastly experienced FC Baresi forward Immanuel Soetan:

Immanuel Soetan is 34 now, and during his time in non-League football, he has played at a very good level. From Ireland, Immanuel has played for non-League clubs such as Eastleigh, St Albans City, Aylesbury United, Banbury United, and Newport Pagnell Town. Having joined his current team, FC Baresi, during the latter stages of 2025 (from Burnham Ramblers), Immanuel, who also spent some time playing football in Portugal, has made a really good impression on the team.

Having already scored four goals and provided two assists for Tufail Amjad’s FC Baresi side in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division South, the skilful forward who has a real eye for goal, is also an unselfish player, who uses the ball well in forward areas of the pitch. With a strong left foot, he is very at good at linking the play and bringing other forwards into play. Immanuel is a very clever player who has a great understanding of the game. His very best game for Baresi so far, came in a very good and convincing home win over NW London.

I first saw Immanuel play when he was at Burnham Ramblers, and for FC Baresi he has certainly shown his quality, during his time at the step 6 club, so far. He impressed me during his time on the pitch on Friday evening, when FC Baresi impressively won 2-0 away to Lymore Gardens, in a league fixture. Thank you very much to Immanuel’s FC Baresi teammate, Junior Appiah, for his help in writing this piece, and I would like to wish Immanuel and FC Baresi all the very best for the rest of this season (2025/26). The younger players at the club will certainly learn a lot from Immanuel, with all of his quality and experience in the game.
