Two goals from Harry Farnan, which were both assisted by Liam Walford, helped Hayes & Hillingdon to a 2-0 home Premier Division win over Hayes & Yeading B, on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday evening there were three Middlesex County Football League Premier Division fixtures taking place. Camden United’s home fixture against Kodak (Harrow) was played at Rayners Lane FC. With Kodak making it two wins from three with an impressive 2-1 away win over Camden United. Both goals for the away team on Wednesday came from Ajaye McLeod-Clarek. 

Also on Wednesday evening Stonewall came from 1-0 down against Apollo London, to record a good 4-2 win at the West Ham Memorial Ground. The other fixture taking place on Wednesday was between Harrow United and Wood Lane. With that competitive match ending in a 2-2 draw. Then on Thursday evening at Club Des Sports in Acton, the visiting team, Sporting Duet, put in an impressive team performance to beat LBS Lions 3-1.

On to Saturday now, and the Apollo London versus Hayes & Hillingdon Premier Division fixture finished 3-1 to Hayes & Hillingdon. At Brentham Club, FH Whistlers won 5-2 against Indian Gymkhana Club. And Hayes & Yeading B and LBS Lions would play out a 3-3 draw, in a game which was happening relatively close by. Recently promoted side Explorers, would get off to a great start to life in the Premier Division by impressively winning 3-0 away to Kodak (Harrow), yesterday afternoon. There was also a win for Larkspur Rovers, who beat Harrow United 1-0.

At Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub there was an interesting league fixture taking place between last season’s third and fourth place sides respectively. That match would finish 2-2, between Sporting Duet and Camden United. Finally, Wood Lane would put in a great team performance to beat Camden & Islington United 5-3, at London Tigers Sports Complex. My highlighted Middlesex County Football League fixture of next week takes place between Hayes & Hillingdon and Wood Lane, at Northwood FC next Saturday.
