In the first game-week of the 2026/27 Hackney & Leyton Sunday Football League there were three competitive matches involving Premier Division sides which were taking place at Hackney Marshes, last Sunday. In the Jermaine Wright Charity Shield between Baddoo FC and FC Nyva, FC Nyva would win that fixture 4-0. In the two Premier Division fixtures which were taking place on Sunday morning, City East would beat Boundary East 2-0, courtesy of goals from Jordan Lewis and Mikie Robinson. In the only other Premier Division fixture, Clapton Community Development would come from behind to win their fixture against Hatch Lane United, 3-1. With Clapton Community Development’s goals coming from Emmanuel Olasehinde, Adam Watkiss, and Michele Bradley-Sanna.
