PFC Victoria London came in to Wednesday evening’s Combined Counties Football League Division One fixture at home to Molesey, on the back of an 8-0 away win over Shepherds Bush. PFC Victoria started this match at Bedfont Sports Club, in fifth place in the league table after ten league matches played. Molesey started this fixture in 13th place in the league standings, after 11 league matches played. A very good team performance from PFC Victoria would see them win this fixture 4-0.

It was a fast start from PFC Victoria in this game, with Kamil Zielinski coming close to giving the home side a very early lead after being played through on goal inside the Molesey penalty area. However, the experienced PFC Victoria forward would place his effort a fraction wide of Ivan Barrett’s goal. Then in the 11th minute of proceedings, a fabulous free-kick effort from over 25 yards out and from a difficult angle, from PFC player Aleksy Czekalski, would give the home side an early lead. With Aleksy Czekalski curling an unstoppable effort into the top left-hand corner of Ivan Barrett’s goal from distance, 1-0.

Kamil Zielinski came close to making it 2-0 soon after play had resumed. The forward having worked the space well on the edge of the Molesey box, before getting a powerful effort away on goal, which was well turned behind by Ivan Barrett. A quiet and fairly uneventful spell in the game would follow, in which PFC Victoria remained the considerably more creative side. Before half-time and in relatively quick succession, both Kamil Zielinski and Adam Dougui came close to doubling PFC Victoria’s lead, but at the half-time break the score was still only 1-0.

Molesey were awarded an early penalty during the opening minutes of the second half, after Oliwier Kaczmarek had hit an effort from inside the PFC box, which was blocked by the hand of a defender. However, having dived to his right and read Oliwier Kaczmarek’s powerful resulting effort from the penalty spot well, Filip Chalupniczak would make a great save to push the ball behind. PFC Victoria would then go straight down the opposite end of the pitch, with the ball. Ivan Barrett would make a good double save to keep out Aleksy Czekalski and Kamil Zielinski’s efforts on his goal. But the Molesey goalkeeper was unable to keep out the alert Oskar Kruczkiewicz’s effort from close range, following Aleksy Czekalski’s corner-kick delivery, 2-0.

Then in the 54th minute of the game PFC Victoria would make it 3-0, after Oskar Kruczkiewicz’s defence splitting forward pass had round the run of Aleksy Czekalski down the left-hand side of the Molesey box. From where the talented PFC Victoria winger would tuck the ball into the bottom right-hand corner of the goal with a composed finish, 3-0. 15 minutes later and with PFC Victoria in full control of the game, the inform home side would further extend their lead. The influential Adam Dougui would thread a short through-ball pass into the path of Aleksy Czekalski, who initially got a bit of fortune with a rebound inside of the Molesey box. However, he would finish clinically into the bottom left-hand corner of the goal, with another clinical finish in front of goal, for his hat-trick goal, 4-0.

PFC Victoria were very good throughout this game, in what was a commanding performance from them, as they move up to second place in the league table. Oskar Kruczkiewicz and Adam Dougui both had strong games for PFC Victoria, against Molesey. However, the excellent performance of hat-trick hero Aleksy Czekalski, who was involved in all four goals in this game, meant that he was undoubtedly the player of the match. The PFC Victoria youngster had a great game off the left, and he has made a great start to this season.
