A piece on Lymore Gardens player Tyrique Peters:

Lymore Gardens player Tyrique Peters is in my opinion one of the most creative footballers on the ball, in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division South. Someone who has played for Lymore Gardens for a number of years now, arguably Tyrique’s best position is in the CAM role, but he can also play effectively off either flank, or as a centre-forward. Continuing to be a very important player for Lee Benjamin’s Lymore Gardens side, Tyrique scored ten goals from 36 competitive appearances for Lymore last season (2025/26). In what was the club’s first season at step 6, as they made the league play-offs and also went on an incredible run to the fifth round of the FA Vase.

Tyrique already has five goal involvements already this season from 11 competitive appearances, with two goals and three assists. As a player in the CAM position and in forward areas, Tyrique is very good and skilful at progressing the ball up the pitch. His ability to evade challenges, take players on as well as being a highly press resistant player, is just one side to his game. However, Tyrique’s decision making on the ball and in the final third, as well as pressing and chasing down players to great effect, makes him a key player for his side. The scorer of some fabulous goals for Lymore Gardens over the years, the player who plays his Sunday football for Baddoo FC, is so composed in front of goal at crucial moments. His weight of pass and vision for the game is also top class.

Next up for Lymore Gardens and Tyrique Peters, is a league fixture against East Thurrock Community FC, on Friday evening. Tyrique’s importance to this very talented Lymore Gardens side will continue to be key, and Tyrique and Lymore will also be looking forward to what promises to be a fantastic second round tie of the FA Vase, against step 5 Biggleswade United, during the following Friday.
